## What this site is

QR Code Scanner is an online utility, not a downloadable mobile app store product. Users can:

- Scan QR codes from a webcam or from an uploaded image
- Generate QR codes for URLs, text, email, phone, and SMS
- Create WiFi QR codes (SSID, password, encryption)
- Scan product barcodes and generate barcodes in common 1D/2D formats

Processing is client-side. Images and camera frames are not uploaded to our servers for decoding.
